The Rooks

BBC Inroducing Stage

The Rooks made their festival debut at this year’s TRNSMT festival— and they completely owned it! What makes it even more impressive is that they were the only band on the lineup without a manager, agent, or label. Raw, independent, and fearless, they still managed to deliver one of the standout sets of the weekend.

Considering it was their first ever festival slot, their performance was nothing short of electric. The BBC Introducing stage was overflowing, and the atmosphere was one of the most vibrant I experienced all weekend. From the first note, the crowd was locked in — singing, dancing, and completely losing themselves in the energy The Rooks were putting out.

On stage, the band is tight, sharp, and overflowing with confidence. They command the crowd with ease, powered by soaring melodies and big, infectious hooks. Tracks like Get Up” were undeniable crowd-pleasers, and it’s easy to see songs like that becoming future anthems as the band step up to even bigger stages in future.

It’s no wonder The Rooks’ fanbase is growing so quickly. They already feel like a band destined for venues like the Barrowlands, where their sound and energy could really explode. If you’re into bands like Kings of Leon or Stereophonics, The Rooks should be on your radar — and on your playlist.
