Lucia & The Best Boys

Main Stage

Lucia & The Best Boys opened the festival’s main stage on Saturday with an electrifying, thunderous set that instantly set the tone for the day.

Although it was their first time performing on the main stage, you’d never have known it. Their confidence and command of the stage made it feel as though they’d belonged there all along. Having already toured with the likes of Garbage and The Last Dinner Party, the band has carved out its own identity and firmly established itself as a powerhouse in Scotland’s indie rock scene.

Lucia’s soaring, powerful vocals, paired with the band’s razor-sharp performance, made their set truly unforgettable. The crowd agreed, throwing themselves into the music and feeding off the band’s energy — the perfect kickoff to a packed day of music.

Highlights included anthems like “So Sweet I Could Die” and the dreamy, melodic “Perfectly Untrue.” They closed with a blistering cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” that sent the crowd into raptures, proving they can put their own stamp on a classic.

For fans of bands like Pale Waves and The Regrettes, Lucia & The Best Boys are a must for your indie rock playlists. Their future feels incredibly bright, and after this performance, it’s clear they’re only just getting started.
